About the Journal
JAGUR: Jurnal Agroteknologi is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by the Department of Agronomy, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Andalas, Indonesia. The journal is dedicated to advancing scientific knowledge and innovation in the broad field of agricultural cultivation and plant-based production systems.
JAGUR serves as an academic platform for researchers, scientists, and practitioners to disseminate original research findings, critical analyses, and applied studies that contribute to sustainable and productive agriculture. The journal welcomes high-quality manuscripts covering agronomy, plant breeding, seed science, plant protection, and soil science, with an emphasis on improving crop performance, resource efficiency, and environmental sustainability.
The journal publishes studies on crop physiology, cropping systems, irrigation management, fertilization strategies, pest and disease management, and soil and land resource management. It also highlights advances in plant breeding and biotechnology, seed development and quality, plant health protection, and soil physical, chemical, and biological processes that support agricultural productivity.
JAGUR applies a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the scientific integrity, originality, and academic value of all published articles. The journal is published biannually, with issues released in April and October. All articles are freely accessible upon publication, and authors retain copyright under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) 4.0 International License, allowing broad dissemination and reuse of published work with proper attribution.
